The Good Men Project published a piece I wrote about the psychological effects of having gynecomastia (male breast enlargement) between the ages of 11 and 29 and then having to work through the condition’s repercussions during these last 10 years. The condition was a major contributor to my depression. This is the first original work I’ve ever sent in and had accepted and it feels…bizarre. To read it, please click here.

January 21, 2014 at 10:09pmI too, have suffered with gyno and at 36, need to move away from this…but I’ve avoided bringing it up to doctors but need to in order to have my insurance help….
I’d like to know how you found the plastic surgeon you chose…any help you could give would be appreciated.
Thanks for the story….

When I started researching, I found this great site w/ a forum dedicated to just about any gynecomastia-related topic including suggestions for doctors and advice about insurance. Here’s a link. If I can be of any help, especially supportive, please let me know
